We tried this scenario but there are some things that didn't convince us.
Here you can find the original PDF for scenario "334 Operation Dragoon - Dragoon Headquarters"
www.commandsandcolors.net/tideofiron/dow...arios.html?start=260

Scenario details tells that German Deployment Zones are highlighted hexes in 4A and 2A
Sadly in these 2 maps there are no highlighted hexes (apart from the red ones that identify the additional terrains).
The only highlighted hexes are the black ones on the maps 9A, 11A, 1A.

We tried to play it by having the Germans deploy in the black hexes in 9A, 11A, 1A but the line of sight was too covered for the German MGs to be effective.
Furthermore, the Americans can easily overcome the tank traps with the infantry squads and gain a total of 7 command points per turn (starting from 2nd / 3rd turn).

This disparity in command points, combined with the Supply deck (which granted the Americans the inclusion of a mortar) made things too hard for the Germans.

I would also say not very funny as it is at the moment.
