Carentan, June 13, 1944 — The capture of Carentan is essential to consolidating the Utah and Omaha beachheads into a single defensible position. 6 Fallschrimjager regiment had evacuated the city on the 12th after running out of ammunitions. Now reinforced by S.S. panzergrenadiers, the German paratroopers have retaken part of the city. It's due to the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment to clear them out again, house by house.

Played 2 times. 1-1. The German MG is a great opportunity to use opportunity fire, but if the US can manage to spot it, it quickly falls from mortar fire. 

A really fun scenario for something that is so quick and simple.

No command deck and initiative changes every round.
Clean, quick and fun.
Excellent introduction to the use of the mortar (in this rare case "double" for the Americans), suppressive vs normal fire and elite units.
