At 6.30 am on May 27, 1942 explorer patrols of the III Nice Cavalry Group sight the advanced positions of the 3rd IMB (Indian Motor Brigade) attested at "Hill 171" at Rughet el Atasca, about 6 km to the southeast of Bir Hacheim. Taken under enemy fire, they fall back.
At 6.40 am the 132nd Aries Tank Regiment prepares for the assault on the Indian Brigade, in front line on two columns.
In less than an hour the tanks completely overwhelm the enemy positions, neutralizing the enemy fire positions and forcing the Indian Brigade to surrender.

Accurate and punctual commentary as always, James.

At this point to make it historically accurate we need to turn the halftracks into simple trucks...

Let's hear Pino's opinion (the author of the scenario).
I am still available for playtesting.

Aha, thanks for the link!

I'm a huge nerdy fan of obscure vehicles, aircraft, firearms, etc., but reading the link it appears that the Regio Esercito did not put any of these Bren Carrier clones into service before the armistice (and they likely also did not serve in any armed forces after Sep. 1943). Even if they had, the Regio Esercito didn't standardize on a prototype until Feb. 1943, which was 9 months after the time of this scenario.

What is the Fiat CVR4? Is it an armored car? I can't readily find it via Internet searches.
Indeed it is a transcription error!
The correct name is Camionette Cingolate ‘Cingolette’ CVP-4 (Fiat 2800).
