Bussaco :
Gottoman (Allies) 12 banners 63 blocks lost
Hawkmoon (French) 13 banners 65 blocks lost

A fierce battle with astonishing troops surviving several fires or melees (like Guard Grenadiers or a french LC in the centre).

There was a general advance from the French and the Allied was on the hills resisting the french pressure inflicting severe losses. French Artillery supported very well the different offensives. A well balanced cavalry fight in the french left.

2 allied generals were killed in action (one by sharpshooting and the other in melee)

At last, a light infantry conquerred a hill.

The last action took 2 entire turns and Allied was very close to win.

May the hell be with those damned dice !!!

(French) 16 banners, 60 blocks

The battle was manly fought on the French left and center. The Austrians pushed hard for Aspern, badly mauling the French, but taking a few licks as well. The center saw some early cavalry action with the Austrians wiping out the French arty and CUs over several rounds. The French dice were terrible here. The French were getting a very thin around Aspern, and were about to lose the town's VPs when a timely play of BC and Elan were enough to take the battle.

RD2 Laon Viridovilas (French) 7 banners 45 blocks lost RedCurrenT (Allies) 14 banners 31 blocks lost Finally, luck smiled at me, the match was played in two approaches, played for a little more than 4 hours. It was hard for me to play, since my time is 5 hoursdeep at night, and even the internet often disappeared. The main and decisive battles were fought on the French right flank,i think that i was very lucky because the French have very strong cavalry here, which my opponent used,so he managed to drive 3 of my infantry in square, depriving me of the necessary cards, but by some miracle i was able to avoid defeat,my "BRAVE GUYS" ,despite repeated hits on the first blow and the canister, completely overturned the right flank of the French, and also hoisted Prussian Banners on all cities. It was a good battle, thanks to my apponent .

Smiled indeed.. this was the only Allied win of this scenario. Well done!
I had lost faith that it could be done.

I think Max is on vacation (usuall thing in Italy in August!) so let me briefly report our Raab game. I do not have log (Max, pls add once you are available) but the screenshot from the end of our game.

Round 1 EPIC05 Raab (14 June 1809)
mk20336 (Austrian): 11 banners, 61 blocks lost
Viridovilas (French): 17 banners, 40 blocks lost

We finished playing like 2-3 weeks ago, so my recollection is vague:
- I scored tons of medals for scout
- Max got 3 of my leaders plus one escaped off board - shame on those Austrians
- my whole left wing disappeared in the initial phase of game

Max (Viridovilas) has retired from this tournament, which creates something of a scoring dilemma.
If I could ask that the remaining 3 matches get played ASAP, since the outcome of those matches might throw a bit of clarity on the finalists
