OK, I've put up a revised roster of matches for 6 rounds (12 players). Deadline remains the same, since the Open usually starts around then.

Thank you Mark. Standard MT with 6 games should be more manageable then Round Robin.

Thanks Mark,

yes this is definitely what I had in mind.

I have used the name Round Robin in a wrong way…

See you on the field!

Round 2
EPIC12 Laon (9-10 March 1814)

Toganalper (Prussians) 7 (6+1) 56BL
Gileforn (French) 14 (13+1) 30 BL

It was a very good game that can end in different ways. Prussians maneuvered well and do everything to stop French. Instead of outstanding French troops in the center, main battle was on the French right flank. One way after another, attack after attack. Town went from hands to hands. A little bit more time and Prussian would dominate here. On the left flank French artillery destroyed PRusian collegues by one coordinated shoot and then cavalery made all the game here. 3 dquares athe the end of the game and one captured leader walked alone near hills. Old and young Guards just shooted in the center. They have destroyed artillery with the second "fire and hold attack". Very well played by Prussians but luck was on the French side.

P.S. Module or vassal has made some strange things again. There are too much same situations during last month in common Napoleonic too. Some discarded cards are stay at the field of the other player, cards goes away from the hand. When we have created a new romm all be

OK, I've expanded the draw again to 7 Rounds, and we have a new player
This doesn't change any match results reported, but check it doesn't affect aany matches organised, and that you play the right one

Also, we now have 1 empty spot if anyone else wants to join.

Round 6

EPIC07 Bussaco (27 September 1810)

Toganalper (Brits+ Port.) 8 (62BL)
mantra (French) 13 (59BL)

With both armies drawn up bloody mayhem ensued. Most of the early action was on the French right flank. The Brits playing a bit aggressive around the town of Sula, and gave the French a bit of a bloody nose. Not to be undone by the red coats, the French pushed back. This was the theme for the whole battle on that flank. Halfway through the battle, both sides were looking somewhat tired and showed signs of buckling, but neither commander would give up. On it went to the bitter end. The French around this time gave up trying to do something on their left flank, and went all in, in the center in order to ease up and support their right flank. This swung the battle around to their favor and victory seemed certain and soon for them. That is until the dice became fickle for the French for quite a few rounds of pain and hardship....and indeed, the loses mounted for the French. It was truly an epic battle in game play, drama, and time (the game went close to 6 hours...if only those dice didn't leave the battlefield, it would have been a lot shorter). Samim, as his usual self, played a very tight, challenging and fun game.

A note on our Vassal files. A few hours in, I had to re-sync, and lost the running file up to that point...don't know why that was. I also didn't realize this problem until several plays into the re-sync'd game. So, in reality, the only file I have of a running game is the later half (the second file.)
