6-3 to the Rebels. The Militia put up a stout resistance and only fell back when both units were on the brink. The Hessian Bayonet Attack came in with buckets of dice and failed to score a hit or break the line. General McDougall's trusty lads reinforced the flank and pushed the Hessians back. A missed opportunity for the Hessians which, if successful, probably would have won the battle.
The British Regulars advanced but their lead unit was destroyed. The Grenadiers and Light Infantry almost turned the tide, fighting their way up Chatterton's Hill and breaking a couple of units, but taking heavy casualties amongst the Grenadiers. General Haslett fought back, leading his regiment and destroying both Grenadier units.
A nice scenario.
