ORGANIZATION

The tournament consists of usually ten players who will be randomly assigned into two even groups, typically Continentals and British

HEATS

In the preliminary phase, one group will play the Continental side and the other group will play the British side in each scenario. A schedule will be provided that shows the match-ups for each round of the tournament. You play the scenario just once in these Rounds.

You can play the rounds in any order, there is no need to play in sequence and the draw is already determined

In essence you are competing against the other same side players (I.e. not your opponents) to simply do better overall in scoring banners. So every banner you can score matters, regardless of winning or losing the scenario, because it is the final cumulative banner count that is your score. Obviously winning the scenario scores you the most banners. Because you play each player in the opposing team, and each scenario, there is a kind of balance factor in the scores.

SEMIFINALS

After the preliminary rounds are completed, the two players from each group  who won the most total banners will play each other in a two-game match for the Semifinals, playing both sides of a single scenario.

FINALS

The winner of each Semifinal will then meet in the Finals, to play a two-game match for the championship.

Ties for most total banners at the end of the preliminary phase or in a two game match are broken by determining which player lost the least number by least total blocks lost.
