Something very odd about this scenario. Mini-Tournament results favour the Uesugi 4-1. Moreover, there is virtually no reason for the Oda to attack the Uesugi, simply crossing in force is the best option. Combat will mostly favour the Uesugi troops, so why attack and risk battle back?

It was hard to follow the same level of drama after the last game (scenario 31) but we had a good game all-in-all. We had a similar field of battle with another river dividing the sides (Blue Dragon Card where were you?). Judd was Blue and had to keep troops on my side in order to draw new command cards. He got across early and always had troops on my side. There was a lot of action on my right side, but I mostly had left side cards for most of the game. I was doing whack-a-mole poorly. Judd had some great attacks but in the end he just rolled poorly. I was getting some kills but since I was mostly on horse did not get the honor. We were both starved for honor tokens at various points in the game. In the end my cav units could withstand a lot as superior status units. I got my final banner with a two unit attack on a lone unit in mid-board. I played a sloppy game and should have won earlier. Cav units can really dominate in this game.

It seems to me the rules are not expressed well. We played it that Blue only got a one time banner for meeting its goal, not every turn. Red however, could win a banner every turn since it expressly said that in the rules. It seems the Cav units really favor Red.
