After several games, i must say, it is one of my favorite scenarios of the new
exp. 5 scenarios, i played so far.

The french must try to survive and delay an Austrian victory, until the french
get enough (i think at least 3) reserves and one of it should be a CAV.

The Advantage of the austrian is for sure the 2 CAV
and the 2 ART, which should general try to built a "grande battery".
In 2 of my games here, such a grande battery caused heavy looses in the french lines and at last they won the game for Austria.

The disadvantage on Austrian side is for sure the slow movement of the LN.

Great scenario! Time pressure and reinforcements AT LEAST!

Played this twice in two nights. Lost 4-6 with the Austrians, and then won 6-4 with the French. But the two games couldn't have been more different. For sure, the French reserves are the key. Fall back and defend until you have enough to counterattack. But the Austrian must also beware when advancing as the French do have a sting in the tail.

Played twice with Wayne Baumber and 2 completely different games. First game only saw 2 x French reinforcements (an INF & LC) and after going down 4-1, they rallied to win 6-4.

In the second game, the French receieved 6 or 7 reinforcements. 2 x FA and 4 or 5 x INF. Longer game and well-fought by both, but the Austrians won 6-4 this time.

We both felt the tactician cards added too much randomness in this 6 banner battle and I had the same experience in the Vauchamps game the other day. We both agreed that Lindenau would be fun to try with the old deck instead.

A bitter contest that ended with a French cavalry attack in the center. Reinforcements saved the French who win 6-4.

In the Lindenau scenario do the Austrians receive one victory banner for Lindenau AND, separately, one for the bridge OR one banner if BOTH are occupied at turn start?

Each hex is treated as a Temporary Victory Banner Objective Hex (Turn Start)
The Victory Banner in this objective hex is gained when a unit of the appropriate side occupies the hex at the start of its turn.
If the unit vacates the hex for any reason (movement, retreat or elimination) during its own turn or during the opponent’s turn, the Victory Banner is immediately lost.

So each is worth 1 banner, and both are worth 2 banners.
