Last weekend I played the Foz do Arouce scenario on the board with the figures and took more pictures! As it was a 'solo' game I asked a friend to supply a battle plan for Marshal Ney and also used a clever 'Dummy Blind hand' method to play the French command cards, it worked pretty well I thought. I commanded the British/Portuguese with a normal 'open' hand of cards. This 'spices up' solo C&C play and adds an element of unpredictability.If anybody would like to see the 'Dummy Blind Hand' method I would be happy to post it here, it would be interesting to see what others think of it.

I'm starting on the Russian figures for the expansion next.

Foz do Arouce - pictures.

I have got off to a good start on my Russians, I'll be adding the new expansion as soon as I find it in stock in the UK as I did not pre order Still, it gives me time to build up my forces to replace the blocks. It's been interesting reading all of the comments about the expansion on the forum.
