Theimann managed to almost crush the french right. thanks to silly decision from french leadership but the last frenchy unit there take refuge in the town of Athies while the french build a massive counter attack with their cavalries on their left. They prepared it by placing the artillery of the guard ahead in the woods. Then the charge occurs and the french just manages to prevail by the shortest possible income. Not a victory to remember for them...
MT13 Alpha semi-final decided today, by a final banner count of 9-7.

I wasn't paying much attention to MT13 after I thought I put in a less than stellar showing in the rounds, but turned out I just beat out our fearless organizer Mark by 5 blocks.
The prussian almost break the center of the french army but the frenchies hides themselves behind and in the woods near Dennewitz and finally they reinforcements of infantry and cavlary from dennewitz helps Nappy's soldiers to roll back the ger... prussians and a final cavalry charge ends the battles by destroying an prussian arty and an battalion of militias. Very quick and tough game thanks to Michal !
In the French group, Bernard scored 42 banners, with Michael and Greg tying 2nd on 40. Based on a tie breaker of lowest blocks lost, Greg lost 116 vs Michael 128. So Greg through to the Semi finals.

Tough games for Bernard, some pretty seriously bad dice, especially in game 2. If you want to see how many cards can be played with no block loss on either side, Game 2 is a good example of inability to kill any units.
