I'm looking to play a few games of C&CN online via VASSAL. I've posted here rather than join the ladder tournament as I'm really after a few ad hoc games at times that suit me, rather than the longer term commitment of the ladder.
I live in the UK and could either live or by file exchange.
I'm new to C&CN but not to VASSAL by the way.

i am not a fan of PBEM vassal games, not only because of the First Strike card problems,
but you can always catch me for a game, if you see me online.
We can also each game save, and play on another time then
I am experienced playing CCN on Vassal, and have worked out fixes for apparent problems like First Strike, Form Square, etc. Vassal PBEM works well for people in different parts of the world who can send a turn or two per day. As I write I await a turn from Italy ....

Im interested in some play by email - I've been refereeing some friends through solo games of C&C:Ancients over the past month so I've got a basic understanding of Vassal.
I do have a 4 month old so my turns would likely be only 1 every day or two, if that's a problem.
I have been looking into playing C&C Napoleonics via VASSAL PBEM, but was unsure about how to handle the First Strike, square, etc as well. Doug, do you have your fixes to these issues written up to share?
