Dummies Guide

OK, 2nd attempt....

Could somebody write a dummies guide to

1) Installing the Epic/BT stuff, I've had some problems which are entirely down to me fumbling my way throught he install.

2) How to play the game in Vassal

I fiddled around a bit to work out what to do, still not sure I'm handling the extra draw from scouting correctly!

LOS just seems to give range, not LOS

The markers do what now?

How does the movement trails help?

Game ettiquite?

How does the opponent randomly choose a card for squares?

There's more but this could all be covered in some example turns.

3) Epic/BT stuff, ignoring the fact that I've not got it installed properly, I don't know anything about them. I don't have CCA and nor have I played these so without some additional info I'm back to fumbling.


Having said all of this I'm really really impressed with what I've seen so far. A big thank you to the guys working on this.

Well, Alessandro will create a
"how to install vassal" thread next,
my english is sadly to bad, to do this

And for playing, join in, if any player is on Vassal,
or schedule a time, most are available evening.

Then a experience player can play a first game with you,
and teaching you all things about Vassal

Very kind offer indeed and a really great way to get into it, thing is down the line you don't want to have to do the same thing for everybody and some folks will be quite happy playing with their mate down the road.

I'll probably arrange a game with you next week some time when I know what the schedule really looks like.
