For those, who looking also for easy and funny Napoleonic Sea Fighting rules, try the "Fighting Sail Fleet Actions" rules from Osprey.
These are my favorite rules i waited a long time and are really simple as the C&C boardgames :)
Here a few pics of or last battles, somewhere at lower left in the Caribbean Sea

my favourite Naval game is Flying Colors

although it can descend into a mad jumble, sailing in formations and some thoughtful attacking is the key.
Not an easy game, but certainly a bit easier and less record keeping than Close Action or Wooden Ships.

I fully concur - Flying Colors is really great game, having both grand battles scenarios (base set) as well as 1-1 or 2-2 smaller encounteres (expansion).

I ordered Sails of Glory and some extra ships from local market.
I got the first ship, and it looks fabulous. Impatiently waiting for Starter set :)

I have recently obtained Master and Commander Black Seas starter set from War Lord.  Constructed and painted the ships and have played a few games.
I am no expert on Napolionics naval but I really enjoyed them. Plays quickly, good range of decisions to make and no getting bogged down in detail.o
