No, on the medal count Mark and I were 11 each but on the blocks lost, I lost 49 blocks and Mark lost 48 blocks! So victory to Mark by one block, thanks for a great pair of games and good luck to both of you in the finals.

Game 1
RiverWanderer (French) - 3 banners (30 blocks lost)
stephent (Allies) - 8 banners (14 blocks lost)

French impetuosity was punished hard in this game, with Allied threats provoking French attacks that ended badly for the French overall. The French right and centre was soon dominated by Allied cavalry, the best of the French cavalry bottled up and unable to intervene. On the French left, two well-timed battle-first cards helped the Allies to demolish the French in this area.  With no infantry able to oppose them, the Allied LC penetrated to the bridge and eliminated a French FA in the process. It wasn't long before the Allies were able to mop up the depleted French infantry to complete the rout, with the bridge banner speeding their win.

Game 2
RiverWanderer (Allies) - 8 banners  (18 blocks lost)
stephent (French) - 3 banners  (35 blocks lost)
The Allies made an early foray with cavalry in an attempt to tie up the French infantry which had repositioned to gain more support. The French responded by building up a strong cavalry line across the centre. Fearing a French cavalry onslaught, the Allies tried to get in first with a cavalry charge; it succeeded in eliminating two depleted French infantry and the French HA, but it left a weakened Allied calvary contingent prey to the French. Only bad dice luck muted the French riposte.

Now, the Allies manoeuvred to protect their centre whilst trying to keep the pressure up on the French left.  A huge melée developed drawing in cavalry and infantry in the border of the two areas. Once again, as French infantry swarmed the Allied cavalry, dice luck saved the Allies from banner losses and caused important attrition on the French. The game drew to conclusion as the Allies made good on threats to the French left flank infantry, claiming the needed 3 banners in their last two turns.

Thanks to Steve for two well-fought games. The second was especially tense!

The overall result being close at 1 block, I did a manual count to verify the module's calculation and shared this with Steve.

Thanks to Renaud for both good games. It was difficult, but I was lucky.

Game 1
rjvonline (French) - 4 banners,
Gileforn (Allies) - 8 banners.

Allies started from regrouping artillery, but some rush cavalry attacks destroyed the most part of cannon. On the other hand allied cavalry battles back well. The most lucky was a shooting to HC from infantry that brings 3 hits from 4 dice. That was enough to destroy cavalry and totaly protect left flank of Allied forces. Same time cavalry pushed infantry on the right flank forming a lot of French squares. An attempt of French to throw back allies to the hills was good but battle back was hard. Battle was a really good.

Game 2
rjvonline (Allies) - 4 banners,
Gileforn (French) - 8 banners.

French started to gather cavalry forces in the center. The main part of the battle was there with a lot of cavalry attacks, rushes and following backs. Game can turn different ways, but after allied cavalry was mostly destroyed it was difficult to change something in the battle.

Thank again to Renaud. That were really tough games.
