Roman 7 - Helvetii 1
Julius Caesar immediately comes forward and routs the Helvetii centre. A final “Mounted Charge” by Roman cavalry ends the match prematurely.

Roman 6 - Helvetii 7
As an experiment, the Romans attempted an aggressive start with the cavalry (as one might imagine, this turned out to be a serious mistake). In the end Julius Caesar never moved and the Helvetians managed to win also thanks to the escape of 2 units).

2 solo contests, with the Romans winning easily 7 - 2 despite almost losing Caesar by being too aggressive!. In the second contest however, the Helvetti line held, and defeated the Romans 7 - 5.
