Hi All,

Just wanted to congratulate Alessandro on another great C&C web site.
I don't have this particular game yet, so I have a hole in my C&C collection that one day I must rectify.
Until then I will follow along and see what you lot come up with :)

Cheers
Chris

Very impressive site! I live in San Antonio, Texas and love both wargaming and this era of history. I have really enjoyed playing both game systems and am looking forward to many epic battles.

This looks like it will be a great game resource. I have SB & enough
additional figures to paint up both sides(alas I haven't started yet  ).

We like to play Campaign type Games so the Scenarios are just learning tools for us.
We've created a set of Rules that allow the use of "A Most Dangerous Time:
Japan in Chaos, 1570-1584" a Strategic Board Game, that covers the 16th Century
Unification of Japan, with the C&C Board Miniatures Game "Samurai Battles".

A Most Dangerous Time: Japan in Chaos, 1570-1584 is used as the strategic backdrop
that generates battles that are handled by The Samurai Battles Game.

That sounds very interesting 'Old Dwarf'.
I would love to have more specific information, how about a new thread explaining the mechanics of your system in more detail?
I am sure others would be keen too.

Cheers
Chris

Greetings from Denmark!

This is the game I've waited for ever since I first played Memoir 44.
In fact, on of my oldest posts on BoardGameGeek, from 7 years ago, is about converting Memoir into a Samurai game... all good things come to those who wait, eh!?

Nice site, looking forward to seeing it grow...

Hello from Germany!

Stumbled across this GREAT site via boardgamegeek. I recently bought into Samurai Battles because I positively love the new edition Zvezda minis! Cannot believe this game has been out for 2 years already... Someone has to teach Zvezda a thing or two about marketing...

Unfortunately I am not a big fan of the section order cards of C&C (which I already knew from Memoir44).
I like AoT but I am afraid its a bit too crunchy for my casual gamer friends. If anyone has some ideas for an alternative "as casual as C&C" rule system?

In any case, this a great site and I hope it will stay up for a long time now!
