Solitare play

One of the reasons I got this game was the possiblity of solitare play. I have already painted two 28mm Samurai armies and painted and sold two 15mm Samurai armies (possibly the best looking army when you saw the size). I have spent several years studying warfare of the t
Sengoku peroid and it seemed a hobby in a hobby is collecting rulesets from this peroid. Well enough of my backround in the peroid. Is there any special rules anyone uses for solitare play? My son is almost old enough to play and until then, I want to play solitare. Thoughts?

I know of no satisfactory solitaire options, and the C&C The Great War AI seems pretty lame, which indicates to me that there isn't an option that is easily mechanised.

Fundamentally, the card combinations are going to be a tough thing to make AI, and really it requires a human mind to play adequately. I prefer to play online on VASSAL against a real opponent rather than go through the motions on a tabletop, even though it means no figures.

After a few attempts I found that you can easily play solitare. You play normally and the solitare player draws a card and plays it to the best of the ablity. Still trying to work out Dragon cards. So far, the solitare player just sells them for honor points.
