Legend for Map Packs

You guys humble me with how much work you put into this game!

I was wondering if you had a legend or page of special rules/units for all the scenarios? For example, X01 Phalanx are listed on the map, is there standard rules around here for using a Phalanx? There is a number of different variants on the Phalanx around. There are also Units like Baleric Slingers mentioned like in X02. There are also Levies, Hoplites, Peltasts, etc! All wonderful stuff!

Mr Bisio has put a TON of work into these scenarios and on special units and if you look into the descriptions of each scenario he explains the special rules. Seriously, humbling.

If nobody has done it yet, I think I would like to try my hand at building a common reference sheet for all these special units. Of course it would help the most of there was common ground and "CCAncients Official" (I am aware not GMT official) special unit stats.

Maybe we could hammer this out as a group and come to common consensus.

If you are thinking about a sort of summary for all variants you can find in evaty unofficial scenarios I think it's a really good idea.
As you noted Joe Bisio is one of the hardest modder over here.

Even if I'm a fan of the original rules, I'll be glad to help you out in writing down a unit variants summary article.

Let me know your thoughts.

Do you then play all the maps (X01 through X80) without any Special Rules at all?

No Phalanx special Rule for X01, or Levie rule for X22?

No sense in doing a lot of work if nobody is going to use them.
