Wargame Room?

I have played many a game on Vassal, and a fellow player there mentioned Wargame room. I downloaded the module (or whatever one would call a wargameroom program ) and have hopped onto the chat server, but have little idea how to get a game going.

Any advice would be appreciated. Or you, dear reader, and I could just play on Vassal, which works just fine, and despite all the commentary I keep coming across saying it is complicated, is the simplest online board gaming I've yet encountered.

I have that too.
It works on XP and is a tiny program.
One player opens the game "host" anf the other is the client and he need the IP adress from the host to join.
Who you can fire at , who can move, wehre you can move to and where you retreat to, advance, battle back advancea dn battlw with leader etc is all checked. the have the battles for the first two expansions.

I have a little netbook and it works with that too the exec is file hmmmm "CCA" I thnik to start it

It didnt work with Vista,, well I couldnt get it to work with vista. dont know about Windows 7.

if you have XP we can play a game , or we can see if Win-7 can work
