2 games solitaire with the Parthians winning both games 6 -1, and 6 -5. In the 1st, the Persian infantry were statues. The 2nd though, was a very close affair with the Parthian having several bow calvary units down to one block but the Persians unable to reach them. The Parthian cataphract calvary did much of the damage.

Interesting battle. Notwithstanding the statistics above, our group played it 6 times and saw 5 Parthian victories, thus changing the history of Persia forever. The LBC enable the Parthians to stand off and pepper the Sassanids, forcing them to advance and then be picked off by the cataphracts. The Parthians also need to be aggressive with their LBC in melee as the three cataphract units can't do it all on their own.
