Sertorians dithered around since they started with nothing useful for Herennius (the Useless) to spring his ambush.
Under a missile barrage the Romans advanced, and the Sertorian cavalry charged on the Right, which cost me all my cavalry, but destroyed all his foot. (3:3)
Finally picked up a Left card, but the opportunity was gone, The Sertorian flanks had collapsed, and the Roman cavalry was lapping at the flanks. Things looked very grim for Sertorius.
Then.. the dice changed
The Roman cavalry fluffed a roll, and Sertorius sprang forth slaughtering everything he attacked. 3 strength units lifted off the map. The coup de grace was an AUX getting 2 Blue hits on 3 dice as the MED Cavalry evaded. I took 4 banners for the loss of 2, and that was the game. It was like divine intervention..
