The single biggest trick here for the Romans is knowing what best attacks what. And not forgetting your missile weapons.

For the Barbarian side, the tactics are relatively simple, but the timing of your activity is crucial.

At least the above are true in my experience with this map.

Vittoria Bretoni 6-5. Battaglia lunga e difficile. I Romani scelgono di avanzare nel centro usando i pilum per ammorbidire la linea nemica. Sulla sinistra dei bretoni il leader barbaro stanco di subire perdite abbandona le posizioni difensive e attacca i romani mentre attraversano il fiume. Viene respinto ma non sconfitto. I romani si trovano in difficolta' ma vittoriosi continuano ad avanzare. Poco dopo anche la destra romana si mette in moto ottenendo successo . La Battaglia si conclude sul filo del rasoio quando i guerrieri bretoni con un colpo di fortuna attraversano il fiume nel centro ed
eliminano le unita' romane sopravvissute che si erano riunite intorno a Scapula.
