It didn't register that this is a player designed scenario until I realised I didn't recognise it and just had a look.......I think it actually appears to be pretty lopsided but that's fine for a two leg draw.

At this stage we'll be playing at GMT 0100 Tuesday (US evening, Australian midday).......sorry, not very Europe friendly but it's an awkward time matchup to schedule.

Mark, given that this scenario is player designed, I don't see a Vassal file for it. Is there an extension which includes it? I can mock one up if needed but would need to do it ahead of time (edit: scrub that, I've just done it but will revert to an "official" file if there is one).

Well, I won. This is my first time winning a tournament and I'd like to say that it was due to clever strategy. But, I think I got really lucky with a dice on Round 2.

Round 1 went fairly well for the Macedonians and I even thought I would pull through with 4 banners. But, his army was just overall too powerful and I came too close to him with my line commands. The Macedonians were ripped apart in the melee.

Round 2 went better than it should've. After a couple misplaced attacks and nearly losing an LC on a bad move, some how I managed to get a good attack going with a double time followed by a charge. On those last two card plays, I received 4 of my 6 banners. For a while I thought it would come down to block counts or even just be a plain victory for BrentS. But, in my last turn, I killed his leader unit, moved in to kill a unit at full strength and got luck with a leader check, ending the game.

Thank you to my opponent for playing well and keeping me on my toes the whole game. Sorry that it did not work out for you this time!
