greg (Craterus) 4 banners won, 27 blocks lost
gcallari (Eumenes) 6 banners won, 25 blocks lost
Eumenes started charging with cavalry on both flanks, destroying Craterus' cavalry and routing Neoptolemus off the battlefield, but losing two to his lighties. Then the grunts on the center started marching only to avoid the direct confrontation and moving to their respective rights. Eumenes sent his auxilia forward on both flanks, being repulsed by missiles and then beaten by Craterus' heavies (but not completely) on his left and advancing on his right (with a Clash of Shields). But then Craterus was killed by an arrow... and Eumenes kept pushing on his right until the end.
Mark (and everyone), we have some doubts about the special rule for this scenario. Neoptolemus fled off the battlefield, so technically he was not eliminated, and so we played without removing a card from Craterus' command. Also, when Craterus was eliminated, we kept playing because there was still a leader on Craterus' side, even if it was offboard. Any ruling on this? Thanks!

plainscape vs toganalper
plainscape 1: togan alper 6
plainscape lost 22 blocks : togan alper 15 blocks
Plainscape started very historically with the right flank Craterus. Eumenes deployed very promtly his left flank and encircled the Craterus. Losing the commander the army felt the loss of the command card and Eumenes army succedded first on the left flank using the cavlary then at the center section..
It was a great bloodbath.

Round 2 Paraitacene
Greg Ottoman vs. Togan Alper
Greg 5 banners : Togan 7 banners
Greg lost 33 blocks : Togan lost 26 blocks
The war started with some great distant shooting and both sides lost one of their elephants even befor the war got heated. Eumenes Army pushed on the right flank and put the Antıgonus back to the wall. The silver shields just watched from the distance as the center phalanx were in a bloodshed and the Eumenes Cavlary was riding behind the phalanx of the Antigonus from the right wing.

Thanks. I've come to the tournament late and have a lot of games to play, so please bear with me. I'll try to get them scheduled ASAP.
Looking forward to some great games, as always.

Mark McG (Antigonus) - Banners 2 / Blocks 32
BrentS (Eumenes) - Banners 7 / Blocks 25
Closer than the banner count suggests. A quick and dynamic game that followed this scenario's usual pattern......skirmishing on the flanks, followed by the central clash of the lines and finished with Mounted Charge. Key moments were Mark's 2 block HI First Striking my advancing leader-led full strength HI and rolling a 4 hit kill.....and me answering Mark's Double Time with my own to force a leader escape (and kill). In the end I rolled more greens and reds than Mark when I needed to and that decided the battle.

MichalK (Craterus) - Banners 2 / Blocks 24
BrentS (Eumenes) - Banners 6 / Blocks 17
A lot of fun this one. Very cagey positioning early on. I blinked and pulled a Mounted Charge when I thought I saw an opening in Michal's otherwise very solid positioning.........successful on the left but disastrous on the right and we traded a unit each. Michal then pulled the trigger and Double Timed his core infantry into my left, scattering my depleted units. I had some good dice but I think good cards were the key, particularly MFM which allowed me to get my most vulnerable units out of harm's way (my favourite card
