have u ever thought about making a medieval version of c+c ancients?

my ideas

heavy cav could attack with 5d and have some sort of charge bonus(they have to move 2 hexes in the same direction as the enemy unit or something) and lots of mounted charge ish cards in the deck

longbowmen shoot 4 range 3-3-2-1 dice and units dont block los if longbows are on a hill

supported pikeman bb simultanously or strike first with 4 dice if unsupported theyre crap

crossbowmen 4-3-1

or something like this and lot's of other mods based on scenario and i think it would work, medieval warfare wasn't all that different (before gunpowder) than ancient so it must'nt be to hard to model it eith the c+c rules

Well, i think, there are some people, who created her "houserules" in all 4 C&C games, to play with friends.

Battlelore is normal the system, for the medieval epoche, so i think, there are already some alternate housrules in the internet,
for example here

www.tsoa.be/html/titelblad_battlelore.html

The most problem i see, that many C&C player also play the other C&C games like BL, BC, MM44 too, and must learn many little, but different rules.

So if the create and learn also to much housrules for each system, they become worry, if they would play again with original rules, so its for the most player enough, to learn and play with the original rules.

Therefore, you can create each housrule you want, but you need player, which would learn and play with you this housrules.
