ordering units was created by graf-spee
Hi,
What is the exact timing for ordering units?
FEX when you can order 3 units.
Do you "activate"3 units when you play the card or can you order 1 unit to move and attack and wait with the other "activation"of units to see the result of the first attack and then activate the other units depending of with units are in position for an attack after a retreat?

Rules say :
Battles are checked and resolved one ordered unit at a time, in the sequence of your choice. You must announce and resolve one unit’s battle entirely, before beginning the next one.

It does not say when you order the units.

Hi Bob,

If you look at the GAME-TURN (Sequence of Play)
www.commandsandcolors.net/ancients/Rules/Base-Game/05-ga...equence-of-play.html

You can see that you play your card, order all the units that the card lets, move any of the units that are going to move, and then resolve any battles in the order you choose.

Hi Bob,
Phill is right

all movement must be completed before any battle (between two units) is fought, and each battle must be fought to completion before another battle is begun.
