Game 1 was a really close game that was tied at 3-3 at one point. My right flank kept pushing and pushing until the line of battle was at an angle and I had chipped off just enough to win.

Game 2 was a story of really good cards and dice for me and using that to slam into his left flank and overrun it. Thanks again to Alister for the match!

After initial largely ineffective missile fire (including no hits from 12 dice Macedonian Darken the Sky, as Andrey suggested maybe the wind was against the Macedonians), the Greeks formed line, line advanced and then double timed the Greek right against the Macedonian left, trapping and destroying a unit each of LI and LC (0-2). Fighting continued on the Greek right/centre right with a further loss of three foot units each (3-5). Side by side, father and son, Philip and Alexander, launched a Mounted Charge against the rear of the Sacred Band, which had been left isolated as the melee moved to the centre. The Sacred Band was nearly destroyed but eliminated Alexander’s Companion MC on the battle-back, and were saved by the bell 3-6.
Thanks to Andre for another tense and tough game! We missed that Alexander should have had an extra dice, so there might have been satisfaction for Macedon with the destruction of the Sacred Band and a score of 4-6.

Both sides started by consolidating their lines and trading fire. Macedonia was more successful weakening Greece with ranged combat and dice god assistance. Dice gods changed sides and Greece chewed up the heavies on the Macedonia front line. At that point, Greece was ahead in banners and the game was probably winnable by either player. Macedonia rallied with good use of cavalry and won the battle by picking off weakened Greek units. The lead see-sawed from Macedonia to Greece to Macedonia, making for an exciting game.

Both players had some struggles with their hands, making for a long game. There was a prolonged period of the lights trying to weaken the other side and adjusting lines. Eventually both players attacked each other's lines in the center. The game was fairly close until the last turns. Greece fought back near the end with a strong card, but Macedonia used the heavies to clean up weakened units and win the game.

NOTE: I attached the files but don't see them. Hmmmm.
