June 6, 1944 - The Tombion sabotage was a military action that took place in the night between 6 and 7 June 1944 against the Nazi-Fascist army carried out by a group of partisans of the "Antonio Gramsci" Garibaldi Brigade commanded by Paride Brunetti (Bruno).
It allowed the partisans to interrupt the railway connection between Bassano del Grappa and Trento, located in the narrowest part of the Canale di Brenta valley.

I see railroad overlays on this map, which is a great addition. Are they intended to have any game mechanical element to them, or are they merely design elements?

In this scenario they are to be considered only as an aesthetic design (to better set the situation).
The basic idea was to create map overlays to introduce armored trains among the new units.
This idea (Armoured Train) is currently less than a draft and suggestions are welcome!
Another scenario with railroads and a draf "armoured train" is  310 Offensive on the Istra .

Ah, excellent! I like the addition of armored trains, and train tracks as map elements (outside the Stalingrad expansion).

I did make some suggestions to the Istra scenario page.
