Alecrsespi, you put a lot of thought into the experimental rules. I do not have experience with TOI and am still in the process of acquiring some game sets. Having said that, I have put some initial thought into evaluating the system overall... I found in a board game geek thread where someone stated the scale of the pieces were 1/72 for Infantry and 1/144 (approximately) for vehicles. I also found many sources for 1/150 scale aircraft that are already attached to raised bases. I like where you are going with the experimental rules. I could see such additional things as half tracks with radios (a quick search finds this variant already made with radio) or an engineer variant. Even 1/72 scale airborne troops paired with the appropriate 1/150 transport plane is a possibility. There are also self propelled artillery options available in 1/144 and self propelled flak that could be used in either anti aircraft or ground against other targets (Germans used these with great effect on Eastern front). At any rate, I think there is potential for a new gaming system entirely or, at the very least, an opportunity to provide greater depth to the current one. I have more additional initial thoughts on the topic. Feel free to send me a private email to discuss further (316solutions1@gmail.com). Thank you.

Bottom Line Up Front:  I have made the decision to create my own table top board game; produce it and bring it to market.  I am a retired Military Officer, I own an Industrial Supply Business and I am a gaming enthusiast that is tired of not being able to find a modular game series that fulfills my expectations.  I welcome some collaboration with other serious-minded people interested in being part of a solution.  It will take time but , after years of frustration, I  am committed to bringing a project like this to fruition.  Thank you and looking forward to working with like-minded people and providing the market with a sound product.  Thank you.

Thanks, I have shared on the site all the material that I found online relating to TOI. (It's not all my own making)!
The possibility of expanding the TOI game system is truly vast: for example halftracks with radios could be represented by an operational card while self-propelled artillery could be represented by an additional token (next to a normal artillery miniature).

With the number of units currently inserted in the database (mostly thanks to the user JVHillegas) it would be possible to cover the entire WW2 conflict, only the air vehicles would be missing.
We should decide whether to try to integrate them with miniatures or whether to try to go the route of counters.
