Extension 6 - Epic available

Just got the new material of extension 6 and forward it to Alessandro, so i hope, he publish it asap here

and i didn´t want withhold also a first picture of a new "La Grande Battle" scenario

well I for one am enormously impressed by the La Grande Battles mechanics.

EPIC is pretty much the same as Ancients and BattleLore, a tried and tested system that works well.

LGB seems to take it up a level, with Corps commanders having a much more influential role that just playing the cards given to them. Really looking forward to getting LGB on the table with 8 players.

I've never played Ancients Epic. Would playing with 8 players work across Vassal? I guess a lot of use of the pvt message channels would be needed?

As i played still MM44, we have regular Overlord (MM44 - epic) meetings on Vassal with players overall the world. It was been general nice,
but a game takes around 5 hrs (or more).
But this required already an above avarage knowledge of the game rules and vassal mechanism.
Without this knowledge, a CCN epic would take a few hrs more (and i dont believe, that much players would spend then this time).

Because of the large map and second/separate cards window, a widescreen monitor and/or a second monitor is an big advantage
