something that occurs to me now..

Tactics Cards or Old Command Deck?
theoretically it could vary by Round, so Round 1 might be Scenario 007 with the Old command Deck, Round 2 Scenario 512 with the new Tactics Cards and 75 card Command Deck

consistency would be better though..

Mark, it may be prudent to set up a 'drop out player' result clause this time before the comp. That way, we all know where we stand at kick off.

Not that I know how often a game is demanded in your MT's, but perhaps the amount per month should be looked at to avoid people failing to keep up. Our current league set the pace of a year for completion. A game of the month for 10 months with a 2 legged final to be played anytime in Nov-Dec. From what I see here a few times is some newbies jumping in all guns blazing to play the first few rounds and then they disappear?

Presumably, the objective is to maximise participation and completion by the players. If so, you may consider the following for the command deck and tactics cards:

1. Align on the default method. eg 75 command deck + tactician cards. This could be done by a vote by the tournament players beforehand, or by the dictatorial decision of your good self.
2. Allow pairs of players to choose their own command/tactics option (75 Com+TC; 90 Com+TC, Old Com only), provided both agree to the same method and use both for both games in their pairing.
3. If players don't agree, then they must use the default method.

Having said all that, I'll go along with whatever you set out. Frankly, I'm just looking forward to playing against some new opponents to see how other players approach the scenarios.

Let us have one approach for whole tournament. It is easier and we should avoid the mistakes.

so if I said a default of the new 75 card Command Deck with the Tactics Cards, would anyone drop out?
