Round 4 - 505 Wartenburg (3 October 1813)
Brad forfeit game bei result of
Bayernkini (Allies) - Tarheel (French)
6 (13 blocks lost) - 1 (30 blocks lost)

Only 4 command cards is always bad, mainly you are outnumbered anyway.
Alltogether with a hit rating around 80% on Allies and less than 25% of french side, there is no chance in such scenarios ....
For example, a trapped prussian MLNCR survived a attack of 9 (6melee) dice!

Round 5 - M506 - Dohna (9 October 1813)
Bayernkini (Allies) - Toddrew (French)
7 (8 blocks lost) - 0 (19 blocks lost)

Another example, that a lucky combination of command/tactican cards can finish such kinds of setups very fast.
Preparing the Allies CAV, following with a CAV charge, that was it (including a erasement of center ART).

Round 2 - 503 Sorauren - French left (28 July 1813)
Bayernkini (Allies) - EZPickeis(French)
9 (30blocks lost) - 7 (30blocks lost)

A close game, which i only won, because of the less experience of John, which allows me, to recounter on my right flank and getting their my last VP´s :)

Round 3 - 504 Göhrde (18 September 1813)
Bayernkini (Allies) - plainscape (French)
8 (40 blocks lost) - 6 (26 blocks lost)

Most time i had useless cards, and with the few usefull cards i didn´t hit. So it´s a miracle, that i could win finally.
Get a Short Supply and Rally for my last turn, which allowed me, to "remove" a french full INF from the center hill. With a rallied CAV i destroyed another 1 block french INF on hills and my 2 block CAV occupied the hill for the last VP.
Todd couldn´t kill or force to retreat it then in the last turn of game.

Round 2 - 503 Sorauren - French left (28 July 1813)
Mark_T (Allies) - Timothy Phelps(French)
8 (26 blocks lost) - 9 (50 blocks lost)

Extremely close game. Allies jumped out to an early lead as the French threw themselves against the hill. They were finally able to root out the Spanish and thanks to the help of Sappers, take the town of Arleta. The British were able to regain control of the hill, and then launched an offensive strike on the left flank, pushing the French all the way back to the baseline. The French performed La Grande Maneuver to reinforce Spanish hill with some fresh troops including artillery, cancelling the British majority. They were then able eliminate a British unit to gain the majority. Meanwhile, the Brits (with help from the Portuguese) continued to press the attack on the left flank, hoping to score two more banners for the win. Unfortunately, this left them out of position to be able to reinforce Spanish Hill, and they came up 1 hit short. The French claimed the last two banners they needed by maintaining the majority position on Spanish Hill. Without a doubt, the best CCN game I've ever played.

Yes, this was a great game. Central to the combat was the British wall of fire on receiving the incoming waves versus the french maneuvreability, which in the end proved to be the determining factor. The Allies had limited command abilities with a very left flank centered hand. The temporary VPs on the map helped the french, who took a beating, as is seen in the lost block ratio. Allies would have won if the final roll with 2 dice against a single INF would have scored a hit. Very tight and enjoyable game :)
