A spotty tradition going back 8 years, currently has its home in a BoardGameGeek Guild: www.boardgamegeek.com/guild/1523 . There is a tournament starting up in about a week that involves only historical medieval scenarios, Scottish Wars. If anyone is interested, we are always looking for newer players, and are hoping to get 2 or 4 more before the start of BVT7 .

If you have interest, please join the guild or send me an email: t_rewoldt@hotmail.com . Happy to get anyone up to speed on the game - the medieval (historical, no fantasy elements) scenarios play very similar to any basic C&C game, with a deck of event cards as well - I believe this will be an aspect of the Marshals expansion for Napoleonics - again, feel free to contact me if interested.

About a year ago I put up an expression of interest over on the BattleCry.net forums.

I'd still be interested, but it died a quiet death over there.

As a novelty, the a Zulu Wars tournie would be fun!

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever.

Hey, start your own thread about BC ;)

Seriously though, just takes a handful of interested players to get that going. Trick is finding those interested players with a game that isn't "hot", like the out of print and no longer developed BL1E, and similarly situated BC. Both continue to be viable and vibrant C&C entries - no reason not to keep playing them!

EDIT: by the way, Mark has been instrumental in keeping all sorts of C&C tournament play going (Ancients, Napoleonics, Samurai Battles, BattleLore, and, apparently, Battle Cry) - thank you much, Mark.
