Online C&C Ancients at the Wargame room

Hi Mates

does anyone play using the Online C&C Ancients at the Wargame room?
I will have a friend help me , hopefuly on thursday, to get it going then maybe we can have a few game here in europe,,,,,

and when we reach a magic number of X, maybe we can have a Europian C&C Ancients touremt online. Great huh? :woohoo:

the checks that the rules are correct and retreats, withdrawls, and does loses, etc.

really well done, the grafic is very plan , but otherwise really well done. All the battles from the basic game are there.
it isnt like playing with a real board, they are colored blocks, but good enough to paly with in a friend over large distances

if you like INTERNET PLAYING Commands and Colors: Ancients you should definitely give a try to VASSAL.

I'm and old man and not good and PC stuff, with VASSAL I had problems getting it to work.
With www.wargameroom.com/downloads.htm
I down load it and it runs, it does not look nice but it checks for correct movement , combat , the correct number of dice, asks if I want to evade, and it is really a very small program, the grafics arent great, but even an old man can play it

Would you like to try a game of it with me?

Make sure you have the latest version of JAVA before installing Vassal.
