This is a well balanced scenario. The Americans ran off with a 2-0 lead as the British seemed to have forgotten to load their guns. They could not hit the side of a barn! The Americans advanced General Learned's flank forward with a 'Steal a March' card. Their centre attacked with the 'At the Quick Step'. The British were plugging gaps and taking losses and it all looked to be going sideways.
The British officers to the rescue! General Fraser led the Grenadiers forward with both Regulars and Provincials and ground General Learned's command to dust but losing his Regulars and Provincials in the assault.
General Hamilton joined the Light Infantry in wood and took on all comers, with musketry and the bayonet. Despite 50% losses to the light infantry, they were still there finishing off damaged American units at the end. The surviving British centre units of 1 each of artillery, Regulars and Provincials put in the shooting to finish off a couple of batted units ad it was over, 7-4 to the British.
The American right and British/Hessian left faced off all battle, but despite a few casualties, that's where it ended. I think the British were in a better position here if they had chosen to assault but the American onslaught in the centre and on their left kept the British throwing cards at their own centre and right trying to survive and soak up the attacks.
