We played as in the ruleset booklet. The German Grenadiers were the heroes in both games, teaming up the artillery and General Acland to cleave through all in their path (with some rally and block retreat cards to assist!). The German infantry had a very successful Bayonet Charge in game 1 but a less than successful in game 2 (American player held two First Strike cards which broke both Hessian Regular Infantry attacks).
