The wording here is ambiguous. Although in the Rules (Page 19) it is not. This card allows to order up to 5 units. The Lone leader and the surrounding ones.

Hi everyone,
According to this card, Artillery adjacent to ordered leader will also benefit +1 die in ranged combat or is it like in normal rule that states Leaders attached to Artillery only give +1 die in melee combat ?
It's not well written and clear on the card text.

I think artillery would get the +1 die in ranged combat if adjacent to the inspired leader.
Other cases allow this, Line Volley for instance
