Loving this game. Been one of my favourite historical periods for decades. Was dissatisfied with figure gaming rules for the AWI son wrote my own. However, after greedily getting a hold of Tricorne when it first arrived I found it solved some of the problems I had not solved yet. Now gaming Tricorne using a tabletop hex mat and 15mm figures (largely Irregular Miniatures and Peter Pig). Loving it and it has become a regular Friday evening event with my keen gaming friends in Australia. Am a big fan of C&C Samurai Battles because of its multi-dimensional nature and Tricorne is just as entertaining. The rout and rally rules make it a different ball game to other C&C games and helps reflect the linear nature of the warfare of this period well. Next instalment with the French and new scenarios on order.

Yonder are the Hessians. They were bought for seven pounds and tenpence a man. Are you worth more? Prove it. Tonight the American flag floats from yonder hill or Molly Stark sleeps a widow! ~~~ John Stark ~~~
