Morris Motors Limited produced 2,200 examples of this light armoured car between 1940 and 1944 for the reconnaissance role. The type saw service with British forces during World War II in North Africa, Italy, and Northwestern Europe. It carried a three-person crew and was armed with one .303 (7.7 mm) Bren light machine gun and one Boys .55 inch anti-tank rifle. It had a top speed of 50 mph. There were two main variants: Mk I with 4 x 2 suspension, and Mk II with 4 x 4 suspension. This unit represents both of these variants.
