This unarmed and unarmored general utility lorry served British and Commonwealth units throughout the war, in all theaters. This two-axle vehicle had single tires front-and-rear, and could carry a 3-ton payload. Bedford produced nearly 100,000 of these lorries during WWII, in OY and OX variants, which served in various roles such as troop transport; cargo hauling; ambulance; prime mover; tanker; and mobile canteen. These stats reflect the base ToI unit.
