Glad to know you'll release the new version in April. I'll certainly test it as soon as you publish. In my opinion, the actions position in the list should be chosen so when applying modifiers, they will move to actions that make sense with what triggered those modifiers. That way, the unit could pick more efficient actions in every situation.by Raygun1966
Hi Guillermo, thank you for the feedback. Yeah, as I'm relooking at the cards, I'm paying closer attention to the actions and their positions on the cards. I'm hoping to have some of the changes done this week so I can start playtesting the rest of the month. I'm also working on a priority list for AI activation to make it clearer which units are activated earlier in the AI turn. The new playthroughs and rule videos by the YouTuber "Boards, Bricks, and Battlefields" have been amazingly informative in helping me relearn the game and identify what needs further attention for the bot. At this point, I'm pushing for an early April release.by azathoz
I'm really eager to try this new version. I really enjoy your solo rules for this awesome game. As for suggestions, one thing I usually find a bit frustrating is the modifiers when choosing what a especific unit is going to do. For example, Heavy Infantry, or Armoured unit. In the AI card, you have a list of actions for each type of unit, and depending on the circumstances of the turn, you add or subtract positions, moving up or down in the list. Many times I find that these modifiers make the unit pick an action that is not the best for the position the unit is on that turn. For example, for a tank that has clear view of an enemy unit, the modifiers force the unit to move and fire, Which halves its firepower, instead of simply firing from its position. And reading the text in the AI card, it's not clear to me if I have to apply several modifiers if several conditions are met.
