Special Rules |
German Trench: All hill and rough terrain represents the German trench. Any squads located in the trench receive +2 cover bonus if attacked from outside the trench. There are no bonuses if a squad is attacked by an area attack or if attacked by another unit located in the trench, as long as there is a clear LOS and is uninterrupted by plain terrain. The entrenchments located within the trench add a bonus regardless of where an attack originates from. It costs 1 MV to enter the trench and the usual 2 MV to enter the entrenchments. Destroying 105mm Guns: In order for the Americans to destroy a 105mm cannon, an active unit must spend an action disabling the cannon. After disabling a canon, the unit is fatigued. German Command & Communications Bunker: The German 5 point objective marker represents the command and communications dug out containing maps of German fortifications along the French coast.
