It's a good introductory scenario (for beginners).
It's also a good introductory scenario for more experienced players to get acquainted with some of the new terrain, operations and tactic cards etc.; in short the Normandy expansion.
A well balanced scenario this one. The British will be slaughtered on the beach in droves, but there is a weak point in the defences which means that they can break through. Equally there's nothing to stop the Germans abandoning the cliff top and attacking the paras. Some tough decisions for both sides.
Exciting scenario, it is small but offers great fun. It is quite tactical and mistakes are crucial to define the end of the battle. Decanted scenario for the British side, however, the bad decisions decanted the game for the German side in our game, right in the last action of the last round.
