Cavalry & WW1 Palestine was created by Ray
I am considering collecting WW1 palestine figures for a project for next year 2017/1917 the 100th anniversary of the first battle of Gaza which my grandfather participated in. Has anyone any ideas on how to tweak the rules for this theatre, especially cavalry? All suggestions from the community welcome.

Hi,
I can think about at least couple of things to be included:
- new terrain hexes - especially sand (can act as rough terain in CCA), quicksand (can act like marshes in CCA), impassabel hills, cliffs, oasis
- new units - for sure cavalry (2 or 3 hexes move? range fire or not? 3d or 2d in meele; 3 or 4 blocks per unit?) ; maybe also camels; tribal units (?)

In essence, while trenches were present in all theaters of war, outside western front it was much more dynamic. Thus I can't wait for scenarios from Easter front, Ottoman front or Middle East!

I have now finished the scenario for first Gaza 1917, I have however used the Days of Wonder Memoir 44 scenario creation software to do this. So my question would be to anybody on the forum can I publish this on this forum without reference/permission from Days of Wonder?
