Tank re-roll : Flags.

Hi everybody,
my question is about the Re-roll TANK and the results Flags.

The rules :
- A tank will always ignore the first flag rolled against it.
- A tank will never retreat when a flag is rolled on it in combat.
- Flags that cannot be ignored are treated as a potential hit that must be confirmed. Roll one die for each flag that cannot be
ignored along with any other hits that must be confirmed, when rolling to confirm hits on a tank.


Imagine a roll to touch the tank : no Deadly or Burst results, only flags...
As there is no hit (no deadly or burst), we could say there is no re-roll to confirm the Hit. Correct ?!
There is no re-roll... okay, but for each flags we could'nt ignore : we re-roll one die and perhaps the result will confirm a hiton a Burst : correct ?

it would be better to talk about specific cases, but the general response is that each Burst, Flag that cannot be ignored, and where applicable Deadly Dice result of the battle roll is a potential hit.

Each potential hit, plus any additional dice, is re-roll, and each Burst on the re-roll is a hit.

Agreed Mark, similar to the Tiger rules in Memoir. Remember though, doesn't the tank automatically ignore the first rolled flag? It's been a while since I played TGW.

Yes, must ignore first flag.
I remember this as similar to the Creature Critical hit roll from BattleLore! Admittedly creatures had just the 1 figure.
