Some Good news for Samurai Battles, according to Richard Borg on Boardgame Geek, GMT will pick up/expend the game. Not clear what is coming, but it has to be better than the alternatives.

Re: Regarding need to expand Samurai Battles and Ninja Attack
As the saying goes... WAIT FOR IT!!!!
GMT is already on this and will be leading the charge soon!

Trying to better engage my son to play this game (Old Japan / Samurai Era doesn't look attractive to him) I've started creating some stickers (for wooden blocks) to create both Mordor and Free Peoples armies.

Next I've also adapted Command and Dragon cards and manged to create a Vassal module to be played online.

Here you can see a preview.

Below you will find all files created (consider actual Vassal Module as a "work in progress")

Please post your comment / suggestions in this forum or directly on BoardGameGeek.

Hi guys,

as some of you already know this website has received another "chance" and will go on for another year (thank you so much to StevenE on BGG).

On my side I've been in contact with original Vassal game module author and asked the permission to modify and update it!

LurchBrick kindly allowed me to do that so I've refreshed gamo module graphics (many thanks also to StevenE and Eric) adding different map styles and also a new terrains hex set.

After setting these things up MarkMcG updated all scenarios and now you can find all of them inside actual Vassal game module.

You can easily download it here.

AOT_Player_Aid_ITA

Here you can find some picture preview about new graphics.

and here you can find a log with "version history".

Another Year is passing by and we can turn back to see the path we followed:
2008 - launched www.CCAncients.net website
2011 - launched www.CCNapoleonics.net website
2013 - launched www.CCSamuraiBattles.net website

Right now these websites are full with every available expansion (as to say units, scenarios, rules, faqs, online game modules).
We have 564 scenarios on CCA, 107 scenarios on CCN, 20 scenarios on CCS.
In the past months I've also tried to cut off some of the continuous "spam attempts" and sadly I have unwittingly created login problem to some of you... I've also managed to resolve them but I'll take this opportunity to apologize with you.
Sometimes my intervention is timely, sometimes not so timely. So again, I want to Thank You for your patience.

In order to keep these three webistes online and running I'm here to ask for an effort to all users with whom I shared so far this wonderful adventure that I hope will continue for a long time.
Those who wish, without any obligation, could use PAYPAL form (available on right pane) and make its personal contribution.

Take care and have some nice Christmas Holidays!

This will lead in automatic counting and calculating the balance for each scenario, as long as populate all other statiscts available in STATISTICS PAGE.
