I'd like to see more online play of this game, which I put pretty close to the top of the C&C Series.
So some ideas on encouraging an online participation, there are a few options that could be explored.
Firstly, a small tournament. This didn't do too well last time, but that may have something to do with the Yahoo! experience.
Secondly, a Clan War, where each player takes a clan, and attempts to defeat each other clan to achieve the Shogunate.
This would involve free-form scenarios, which could be mildly harder.
Thirdly, a campaign sort of thing, like the Fourth Kawanakajima (1561) Phase 1-4, or Koriyama Castle (1540). That would be more a 1:1 match up, but could be done as teams.
