Last month I tested out a EPIC version of Samurai Battles, which went OK but not perfectly. Anyway, I've made a few minor alterations, and I thought I'd share it with people to see what they think, and 2 scenarios to experiment with. Sekigahara was the scenario we played.

Guys if I prepare an epic extension for the VASSAL module do you think we can play it online? The task requires some effort and I don't want to do it if I'm not sure people is going to use it. Your opinion please.

Judging from the experience of Ancients, most VASSAL Epic play is done by 2 players. I'd see how EPIC Napoleonics goes before putting major effort into a new multiplayer module.

What might be a simple solution is to add a marginless board to to the existing module, which would allow boards to be butted together seamlessly, similar to The Great War.

I like EPIC games, but they work better and are more fun FtF
