Historical Background

Although fighting near the frontier has escalated, both sides have been able to hold their own. High Command, however, has intercepted a message that the enemy is planning to reinforce the sector with one of their dreadnoughts. High Command has therefore realized that the only way to win here is to counter the move by sending in one of our own dreadnoughts. The battle lines are drawn and you are in command. Got this scenario onto the table recently. Using 1 miniature and yellow "Shields" disks to show strength for Destroyers, Cruisers and Battleships. Keeps the clutter down (a bit)

   

ended in a resoulnding Confederate victory 21-2
